This “chocolate box” cottage was greatly in need of more first floor space, but balance of the exterior had to be maintained. With very careful planning the 3 dormers were designed to put the exact right amount of space where it was needed, so the cottage could keep looking as lovely as ever. The generous use of lead sheeting gave the whole project a real sense of quality, whilst being a little bit different.
